As a standard of all Brist Custom Programs, we give you the chance to achieve a high level of customization without the daunting order minimums. Minimum orders start at 72 pieces so you only need to order what you need, when you need it.
Everything is designed to your specifications. The style, fabric, color, labeling, and trims are all customizable. Tell us what you like or have our creative team design take the reins.
Label the hat inside and out for your brand. We offer a number of different labels types and locations to choose from. This is what makes our custom program truly unique. Have some fun with it!
With our extensive manufacturing process, you’ll be able to create a staple piece that you’ll be proud of. Each hat that we manufacture is carefully inspected and tested in order to meet our high standards and yours. We make sure you’re getting the highest quality product that you and your clients can wear for years to come.
Our wholesale hat program gives you the chance to be a little more flexible while still making some great hats. All you need to do is choose your favorite blank style and add a patch or label.

LOWER MINIMUM ORDER
Stay flexible by ordering a minimum of 24 hats and 250 patches. You my split your hat order into two styles or colors in increments of 12 allowing you to easily try new styles without worrying about overhead. We warehouse all of the remaining patches for free which saves space and makes re-orders fast.

MIX 'N' MATCH
Diversify your headwear selection by having an array of different styles your customers are sure to love. Test new styles as you go, or rotate seasonally to keep things fresh and keep your customers checking in to find out what’s new.
We will warehouse patches on your behalf to ensure speedy turnarounds (5-7 business days if hats are in stock). Order what you need when you need it. This program perfect when you need hats for an event right around the corner or if you blow through a shipment quicker than expected.
We always use Pantones for every color on a patch to ensure the design matches the graphic. We don’t o er Pantone matching for fabrics on our custom hats, but we do have an extensive amount of stock fabrics to match as closely as possible. Pantone matching fabrics can be a risky business so we nd that uses similar stock colors are much more dependable.
We will create a portfolio completely free of charge with either new artwork or using your own. Our hope is that you’ll love something from the portfolio enough to move forward with. Once the order is placed, you’ll either be charged $35 for art arrangement or $70 for a custom design.
Art arrangement is charged when we are given a complete vector of your logo and only need to place on a garment or tweak slightly. A custom design fee is charged when our designers either come up with a completely new piece of art or we have to heavily adjust your existing artwork.
A vector le is an editable raw design le created with shapes, curves, points, polygons, strokes and color lls. Vector graphics allow designers to expand or reduce the vector graphic in size without any loss in quality. Acceptable formats include .ai, .eps, or a high resolution PDF. If you don’t have a vector, in most cases we can re-create the artwork and vectorize it. Custom design fee is charged in these instances, but cost could be more depending on the complexity of the design.
For both custom patches and hats, our quality control begins with the tech pack. We’ve spent years developing our tech packs so they provide every necessary detail down to sizing, Pantones, yarns, sizing, packaging, and placement requirements. Once we submit our tech packs to our manufacturers, all samples are approved by our Overseas Manager prior to bulk production. Once the products arrive at our facility, each item is inspected thoroughly before shipping out to you! Quality is of the utmost importance to us and we do everything we can to give you a product you can be proud to wear.
If you’re located outside of the US, the custom hat program would be the most cost e ective program for you. We can direct-ship from our manufacturer to you in order to bypass needing to ship to the US rst and then to you to save on both shipping and duties. With this, our in-house quality inspection is forgone, but we’re con dent enough in our manufacturer’s ability to produce that this shouldn’t steer you away.
You may order hat samples prior to production. Keep in mind that this will add 2-3 weeks to the lead time and the cost is $220 for two samples. We can provide sample photos for approval in some cases, but rest assured that we have an extensive quality control process all the way to bulk production. We do not o er physical samples for patches.
Our 72 piece minimum can only be applied to one color and style.
If you include our label inside your custom hat next to yours, you’ll receive a discount! As a relatively new startup company, we thrive o of new customers seeing our products and reaching out to us. We love nothing more than having people look inside their favorite hat, seeing our label and contacting us to get one made of their own!
Through years of trial and error, we’ve narrowed down an industrial strength glue that ensures these patches stay where they’re supposed to. We use a hat press or hand-held press heated up to 330-350 degrees to apply them onto various types of fabric.
Beyond Flex t and Richardson, we also have access to Otto Caps, Decky, Port Authority, New Era, Cobra, EConscious, and many more.

Absolutely! Patches can be applied to bags, tees, work shirts, hoodies, beanies, and more! We just need to make sure that the fabric it’s being applied to can take the heat – literally. MOQ of for applying patches is still 24 pieces.
The minimum applies to each design so we cannot split or mix order to achieve the MOQ. 250 may seem like a lot, but you go through them quicker than you think!
You are more than welcome to take the patches to apply yourself or sell as standalone pieces. In that case, the pricing would go up slightly because we bake our pricing with assumption of hat orders to follow.
There is no time limit – we hold em’ till you sell em’! Ideally, we want you to go through them as quickly as possible because that means they were a successful product for you, but there’s no penalty if you don’t.
